Hello, and welcome to my website! My name is Damian Smith, and I am excited to share my story with you.
I discovered my passion for computers at a very young age, and it has been a driving force in my life ever since. I attended Papine High School, where I excelled academically and graduated with a high school diploma. After completing my education, I decided to pursue my interest in computers and volunteered as a computer technician at City of Refuge Children’s Home.
My experience at the children’s home only deepened my interest in technology, and I enrolled in Vector Technology to complete an Associate degree in Computer Systems Technology. I continued my studies at Vector Technology and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, graduating with honors.
In 2019, I founded Dnetsol (Data Network Solution), a tech company that provides innovative solutions for businesses and individuals. As the founder of Dnetsol, I am proud to have built a team of skilled and passionate professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Before starting Dnetsol, I gained valuable experience working at several institutions. I worked as a system administrator at Camperdown High School from 2012 to 2019, where I managed the school’s computer systems and network infrastructure. After leaving Camperdown High School, I joined Fraser Fontaine & Kong, where I worked as a system administrator to present.
I am originally from the rural parts of St. Andrew, Jamaica, and grew up with humble beginnings. Despite facing several challenges along the way, I remained committed to my passion for technology, and it has led me to where I am today.
